May i have a show of hands of who is interested in helping out of buying the daily essentials, as well as witnessing all donations collected are correctly used? The time will be Wednesday, 17 Dec 2008, evening.

Therefore, this poll is purely for people who is willing to fork out the time to assist. Your helpful hand will be very much appreciated.

Those NTUCs i put into the poll are receiving points designated by Boys Brigade. They also have limited volunteers lah, not possible to position themselves at every NTUC in Singapore.

The outing will be on 17 Dec 2008 as the Boys Brigade themselves will ceasing the operation on 19 Dec 2008. So, you still on? Just an hour of everybody's time will be enough.

Contributing is easy, but coordinating is not.

Since most people just interested in passing the money and letting others do the job, then might as well as purchase the goods online instead of transferring the money to me to do the same thing right? Moreover, it is very hard for me to prove that all money received indeed spent on purchases on items that eventually went into the Boys Brigade Sharity Box.

alot of coordination work involved (cowboo and CEO both are busy
), most of us can only afford monetary aid but not able to meetup to get the groceries physically. Also the transparency of showing everyone that items had been hand over to the BB collection point
by doing it online, it save alot of hassle and we can do it OTOT

Looking at the poll above, only Agnes Josephine and Mami_Jazz is really able to help out. You will be too busy snapping pictures of . A lot of people volunteered to give money. I believe the real spirit is only shared when actions are performed together. To made monetary donations only, you can easily DIY online.

Poaching my staff? Sorry to say but Charmaine is a treasured staff of CowSh|t Inc and is definitely not for sale!

i was thinking... cos all along i'm interested in volunteering... any mummies wanna join?

I was in a salon yest and read up on an article for charity CSC.

Other than monetary contributions, the volunteers will schedule some time to visit the elderly and talk to them and help them with some paper work or call their children etc etc... i feel it's meaningful and if possible, i intend to bring DS along... teach him kindness...
