Hi mummies , wan to noe how you all mop ur floor . For me hor , i use hot water , then mix with dettol , but i think i not clean enuff leh , cos i only use half pail of water for my whole hse ... haha lazy .. or can say dunno hw to mop then clean ... teach me leh , mummies ...

I use half a pail of water each for each bed room, living room & dinning room.

We are more leycheh when comes to mop floor cos we have pets at home... We use normal tap water + floor detergent, sometimes will add the dettol to more than half pail... using 2 separate mops.. actually we have 3 mops lah..

1st mop - cat urine & poo poo (in kitchen ONLY)
2nd mop - Mop only bedrooms + hall
3rd mop - Kitchen

haha , save time ma , ok , from now on will change , haha

i use the 3m mop, very convenient! no dripping mops to dry...

1/2 pail for whole house??

I change after mopping the 2 bedrooms but in between I don't rinse the dirty mop inside the pail. I will rinse using running tap water.

for me. i change after mopping 3bed room . then after tat hall & kichen . I use detol with detergent.

For me.. I used 1/2 pail of water for 1 section (eg. 1 bedroom).. mixed w/ 1/2 cup of floor detergent & 1/2 cup of dettol too... I dun use mop i use cloth & squat & clean the floor... coz i feel tat moppin the floor isnt clean at all.. like jz transferring the dirt frm 1 area 2 another.. all along i use cloth 2 clean.. Hope my opinion helps...

LAST TIME b4 i had my 2nd child...

- once, total abt 2-3 pails of water wif flr detergent for whole hse
- twice, abt 2 pails of water wo any detergent for whole hse agn.

* i used to mop my hse at least 3 times a day (total is actually 6times cos everytime twice )


NOW, AFTER i had my 2nd child...

- a pail of water/hot water wif detergent and sometimes plus dettol too for whole hse.

NO MORE le... kekekeke... and i only mop abt once/twice nia... ;p

great dif b4 and after hor haha. for most ppl if got baby le will be more diligent in cleanliness all dis...me... no more le. used to be a clean freak but now only 1/2 haha - lazy mum la

Now i change le , now , i use half pail of water for each bedroom , and 1 pail for living room , 1 pail for kitchen , all with hot water & dettol .

I normally mop with detergent and dettol for the 1st round then the 2nd round just tap water.. it is to remove the traces of dettol..

Use those wet wipes for floor to clean.
