Last month I was not working yet so I apply for CDC susidy(not under MCYS) for my gal at CC. July case all pending than yest I gt de news tt non working mother wont get CDC subsidy. My fren who apply a few months back was okay now they say both parents must be working n not exceeding 1.5k to get their CDC subsidy. I find STUPID N RIDICULOS. How can both parents working not exceeding 1.5k anyway gov susidy no changes juz tt who ever is gg apply CDC susidy pls take note.

The 1st time I applied I mentioned I was looking for a job. Maybe you can call Ms Diana Chee from CDC to clarify.

CFAC is more of helping low income families like mine. Not all families with double income exceeds 1.5k.

Thanks I understood wat u say, yes I agree they r encouring mother go back work. But most of de case is impossiable for both working parents to exceed 1.5k. Y have they need to come out dis new rule when everything is fine in de 1st plc?
