i was admitted on 16.8.06 at 6am at Mt Alvernia Hospital for planned C-section.was very nervous thou my 2nd preg but the atmosphere was slightly diff as this time round i was alocated to a 4-bedded ward.
was watching channel HBO when a nurse came in with the bed telling me it's time!
my heart was pumping so fast i was nearly out of breath...i had my drip on at 830am while still waiting for the gynae to perform the op at 9am SHARP!
Beautiful anesetestic was not ard but there came an elder uncle.scary...afraid he might give me the wrong dosage.There it goes......
1...2...3...4...5...still there??? yes i replied... ok.1...2...3.............and i slept.
My boy was being brought into this world at 0905hr...weighing 3.140kg.
was so much bigger than my girl who weighs only 2.490kg.
i remember waking up at around 11plus but still drowsy...
upon seeing my little price,i was so delighted and relieved...finally...all the hardship i have endured for the past 9mths is worth it!

i had GA and since this is my 2nd one,not so painful as compared to my 1st lor..i'm determined to walk around on the 2nd day liao cos the 1st one i was confined in bed rest for the whole 4days in hospi.
din attend any post natal course or breastfeeding talk so regretted.
this time round the pain is bearable and cos of the diff types of painkiller used.it was inserted into my anus plus those oral tablets.
had been moving around everywhere from hospi to home to clinics and all..my boy has jaundice and needs hospitalisation.he has since discharged but still needs follow up..haiz..and my wound bleeds so need go back dressing again..sad man..
haha..anyway,thanks everyone!
